Lyft Complaint

On April 22 I had already paid Lyft with a different debit/credit card ending with **** that I added that day . From the pick up location Dallas Texas Baylor University Medical center to my drop off location 104 Freeman St Terrell Tx 75160. Remember that my trip was already charged to the Visa Card that was added to my account online and already paid. I contacted Lyft customer support online and inquired that $5 was to be taken out of my debit only how do i go about doing that. Lyft emailed me back this response…..

Thanks for reaching out to us,

In order to add a tip using a different card please tap the “payment method” tab in your Lyft app, tap and hold the card you’d like to make your default payment so we can process the tip from that card.

After which please provide us with the amount you would like to tip your driver along with the name of this driver.

I did exactly what the instructions from the email reply stated.

My D**** H******** debit card was charged for the same trip. When i only wanted $5 to be taken out to tip the driver. I know have both cards charged with that one ride and the company isn’t taking the responsibility to take care of the problem . I would like this to get resolved.
