Uber Complaint

I was picked up by a black car at the Minneapolis airport and left my phone in the front seat of the car. I immediately went to Uber’s website and filled out the appropriate form. I have two email addresses active in Uber, but after roughly six hours… the first message I got was that the email I provided was not the one I opened the account with… and they would need me to start the process over. I did. Then…. late the next evening, I got a message from Uber saying that they called the driver, but he did not pick up the phone. Ok… I filled out the form again asking them to call him again. However, in the meantime, I used find my Iphone. I went to the driver’s home. The driver told me that Uber callled him, spoke to him, and instructed him to destroy the phone. This is not what Uber told me, but it is what they told him. He did destroy the phone, so now I’m out an Iphone.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem? (optional)
Pay for a new Iphone… cash equivalent of an Iphone… let’s call it $1,000.
