Got into a 2 year contract with diectv my bill was to reflect $68.00 monthly and I was guaranteed that it would not increase. a year went by and my bill went from $68.00 to $132.00 a month. I also moved recently and was told that there would be a $200.00 “moving fee”. I chose to cancel my account instead of paying that fee. During my cancellation I was told that Directv would waive the $200.00 fee if they could retain my services. They said”rather then loose me as a customer, we will waive the $200.00 moving fee. I accepted that. What they didn’t tell me was that my contract got extended another year by accepting the $200.00 moving fee waiver. As of now im stuck with a $132.00 monthly bill till March 2021.
