Comcast Complaint

I was billed as a new customer for TV and Internet service upon the date of picking up the equipment. My move in date was in August 2019 and I told the sales person the date of the service would be August. He assured me I could pick up the equipment in advance of the move because I would be billed upon activation. When I went to activate the service in August, I was not able to because I had an unpaid balance. After lots of discussion with Customer Service I was told they would credit the July 2019 bill. I activated August 7 2019. Two weeks later my service was terminated for non-payment. I was then told they could credit the $98 base but could not refund the taxes which was over $24. I was held hostage and could not get my service back until I paid the $24+ bill. I paid by credit card.
