H&R Block Complaint

H and R block has been preparing our taxes at least 8 years.We always get the peace of mind so if there is a mistake on their behalf they pay. We we’re audited in 2016 for 2 tax years 13&14, we have given block and the IRS everything they have asked for during this audit. In 2018 I told the advocate Kathy G—- K—- to file the peace of mind if she couldn’t get it figured out because it had already been 2 years and I need to get my business license back and we need to get on with our lives, the peace of mind pays up to 5500 for each tax year. The IRS says we owe 8,000.00 for 14 and 1800 for 13. We contend we don’t owe anything because the tax preparer didn’t enter all the information correctly, or misplaced vital information because she works at a few locations. We always make sure our tax preparer have all the need paperwork to complete our taxes properly, the same applied to these years. This has been a nightmare for our family I no longer have my business license and we are in collections. After filing a complaint with the attorney general earlier this year and their Corporate office, Kathy filed the peace of mind claim August 20th, on the 25th we got a response from them denying the claim. Please help us get out of this nightmare we do not owe the IRS!
