Comcast Complaint

Not sure how much space here so will try to be brief- but can send the letters of comm. on request.Really 2 issues but most important is Comcast is trying to fine us for leaving a 2 year contract early.We had their services (12 yrs in VA- not at issue) 1 year in Florida.We were not informed on the phone conversation that we were discussing a 2 yr. contract at all. Having moved 4 times in 4 years at that point, I would not have entertained that commitment as we were unsure of how long we would be in FL.They claim it was in the contract we signed “on the phone”.Aside from that, we would have continued our contract in Raleigh, NC however, Comcast does not offer services in Raleigh.We are stating we should not be fined $250 when we were perfectly willing to continue our contract, however Comcast was unable to offer us continuing services.They have sent us to collection.
