CenturyLink – Internet Complaint

Contacted them to get service “fiber optics” at the new home i’m purchasing. Was led to believe that they provided service in that area, they created an account for me but i told them my credit could not be run, i never even gave them my SSN, agent told me no worries and typed all 9’s in the SSN box. 5 minutes later my credit was run? I then was told an engineer would be sent out to check the address was covered for fiber and would be sent out the 23rd of September. I called the 23rd and found out not only do they not provide fiber optics but i dont even get service from them. Called multiple times and got the run around, then was told that they do provide service, waited and then was told they do not.
