Hi, air BNB let a customer charge me nearly $7 for cancel fees . I cancelled right away and it was due to sketchy host and not keeping her word.I want to file a law suit
Illegal Real Estate Property. Forge documents and the properties wasn’t listed as Airbnb. Property was illegally stolen from the owner.
A day day reservation was made and then i attempted to cancel it five minutes later. The host property is run in san antonio texas but a mgmt company out of California with false representation of the property and owner. Others have had a similar problem with this mgmt company who uses hotel dot com and air b and b to advertise and broker the property.

On April 17, 2019, Airbnb canceled my reservation less than 24 hours before my stay in Manhattan, New York City (April 18-22). The only other comparable location cost $730 more, but since it was my only option, I booked it. They offered me properties in other boroughs, but I was suffering with a foot injury (I have medical documentation) and thus did not want to spend 30+ minutes on a train every day of my trip. The company refuses to compensate me for this.
I called them for help because I place I was staying was not safe and was filty.I told them I was afraid for my safety they took 36 hours and me screaming to do anything about it. I was attacked by the hosts. I had bruises on my arm where the man grabbed me. I traveled with my cat and she fell down the stairs in her carrier because the woman grabbed her.I missed going with my friend to pick up her wedding dress which is why I came to Santiago, Chile in the first place. There were witnesses, the police had to come and I have images.The apartment complex also had video cameras
I rented a house on Friday 6 – 8 2019. But to our surprise they had cameras in the house which we weren’t told about not even on the ad. We arrived the house at 550pm and I complaint to the owners why were they cameras but all I got from them was that cameras weren’t working. I called Airbnb at 6pm to make the complaint and report and requested a full refund and another house to take my 12 family members cause we were in Las Vegas and temperature was 103.I was concerned for the well being of my entire family members especially because we have small children’s which when I called Airbnb I express my concern to them but they didn’t do much. I had stayed at a rental to what was to be considered ‘luxury apartments’ in the Financial District of NY, and booked via Airbnb. The stay was from August 4-8 and I was charged $956.26
I booked an instant booking room and when I got there the host didn’t even know I was coming and didn’t have a room for me.Airbnb allowed me to cancel but won’t refund their fee even though this was entirely out of my control.They then sent me message for a few months saying they would resolve the problem before the closed the message thread without even providing a response.
