January 2019, I signed on at $38/month, I was told by AHS salesman my pool was covered, called set up appointment with Contractor through AHS, service was denied.My home was not full and completely covered.So, I was told if I pay $63/ month my home is completely covered for service.Called for work on microwave, AHS denied service on microwave, not covered to replace key pad.Today called for service on garage door repair, service denied for spring and garage door opener.Been paying $63/ month since February 2019.8 × $63= $504; I want my fees back since there was service performed by AHS!
I purchase home warranty from American Home Shield back in May, 2019. My refrigerator was broke down in August 09, 2019 and this company still using excuse that the part is back order and still not fix my refrigerator. My Kenmore Elite refrigerator cost over $3,700 and they only offer $370 . Today is Oct. 15 and my refrigerator still not working . I contacted customer service and consumer affair several time with my concern but still nothing work. They keep ask me to wait .
I called American Home Shield and they send someone out to check out my problem it was with the toilet was clogged and they said they’re going to come back the next day and fix it and they never did. the next day the toilet overflowed and feel that the home flooding the whole room

I purchased a home warranty for our house in June. In July I submitted a claim to have our AC unit inspected and serviced. It took until August and multiple phone calls on our part to have our unit taken care of. After they serviced it and it still was not functioning the way that it had they told us there was nothing their company was going to do because it was an issue with the size of our unit and the size of our property. Finally we decided we were just going to cancel our policy and were told we would receive a refund check for the full year that we, in good faith, had paid up front. American Home Shield always forced me to use its unqualified contractors. If I choose not to use their contractor, it only pay me the money far less than the market value of the service. For example, AHS’s contractor verified my AC’s coil leaks and quoted I need to pay more than $1,000 for it. I do not trust its contract since its contractor replaced the coil within 1 year! I choose to find an AC technician to repair, but AHS said it only can pay less than$300.00 for it. It is totally a fraud!
I filed a claim with American Home Shield on 08/08/19 to get my AC fixed. I was having open heart surgery the week after and wanted to make sure my AC was working properly. It is now 09/13/19 and they have yet to approve my AC getting fixed and I’m in 104 degree weather with open heart surgery.

They started a Contractors portal AHS.com/contractors. The customer pays the copay directly to them, (we are a small business, electrical contractors) We had collected the copay and billed them through QuickBooks until mid-2017. They wanted us to sign this new billing procedure, we did not. They want us to set up the invoice and get the authorization numbers through this portal. This is very difficult to do for the guys in the field and the office personel doesn’t know what they are doing. If you don’t have it all just so, they don’t pay, deduct 25%, Quickbooks shows they opened the invoices yet they act like they never received them so they are overdue and don’t pay. They owe us $9,9
