I moved in November 2017 and had my Internet/Cable services moved to my new address. Spectrum never completely cancelled my services from my old address so they where ACH’ing my account twice a month for 9 months. They owe my close to $1000. I’ve called and spoke with at least 10 managers who all promised me they would look into the situation and get back to me. Not one called me back. I even emailed my bank statements and a spread sheet showing all the double charges and no response. I’ve tried to get in contact with their corporate office and just got another customer service rep. in another state who really doesn’t care. We signed up with spectrum business a few years ago and it’s been nothing but problems the phone is never working correctly we tried signing up with someone else and they were going to buy the phone number since it’s on all of our vehicles and spectrum refused to sell the phone number. The phone is disconnected the say they will fix it and don’t for sometimes weeks at a time. We have lost customers we lose customers all the time our business won’t be active anymore with this constantly happening. We have “managers” giving us numbers to call them if we don’t hear back and they never answer or call us back it’s ridiculous and we are pissed ! Nothing is resolved
I had Phone and internet service with Spectrum. I requested an upgrade to add TV service.
over many years of being a customer the service has been intermittent. paid for higher speeds,upgrades etc. have sent many techs to house still having same issues. supervisor came to house said they are using old technology at our house and we would get an upgrade never happened. now total outage affecting our security system, called on a monday said they should have fixed this year ago could not be out until the following Sunday. Again, no security system without internet. Have made credits for problems so convoluted it is not worth the time.
I only have internet service with spectrum. At first I had the internet speed package of 200 Mbps for $70.99. I needed a faster speed, so the Sales Rep told me that Spectrum Ultra would be 400 Mbps at $90.99. She said this is very fast.
During peak watching times NBC is unavailable. I’ve called several times and they performed several reboots and adjustments but nothing worked. The last person I spoke to stated that this may be due to too many viewers trying to watch NBC causing an overload. He also stated that a technician would have to come out before anything can be done about the issue. I feel the tech won’t be able to fix it since it’s a Charter Spectrum issue. I pay my bill every month and feel there is no reason this should be happening.
The company said we would get $88 for one trade in plus $100 when you got a new phone with them and another $56 for another trade in with another $100 again when switched. I paid off Verizon phones of 200 bucks so I could move both phones to spectrum. The rep had messed up the first time with the trade in so I had to send the new phones back in order to do the transaction again so I could get the trade in deal. They charged me $100 restocking fee. The manger said she will credit my cable bill not give the money back on the credit card. After a 14 day wait we started the transaction again. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone with them, had damage to my home from techs- asked them to file it and to be fixed – then found out there were no notes on my account. I have videos of my internet being out and being told they showed no disconnect. I was promised by a supervisor I would have credits to my account and then he never answered the phone again and I was stuck with late fees. our bill in the past year went from 118.00 and now we are paying 177.00
My account was closed in good standing back in 2016. I have not had cable TV since then.
Company is promising upgrades for phones once a certain payment is met. However, once you attempt to upgrade your device, the system crashes and is unable to process the upgrade. I attempted 4 times in store and 4 times over the phone.
