Recently (a few months ago) I renegotiated my Comcast contract. I have an internet, cable and home phone (triple play) service for $200/month. I have been a customer of Comcast for nearly twenty years.
Comcast mislead me by telling me I was not tied to a contract and when I cancelled service they charged me for breaking a contract. I called them several times to ask for the recording transcript but they never called me back or provided proof other that an electronic agreement.
I signed a 2 year contact with Comcast for specific channels. They removed a channel which I originally requested and wants to change me more money to get it reinstated.
In my residential area there is no other option for internet service.I have paid, on time and in full, for internet service into my home for 20+ consecutive years.Throughout this period our service has been consistently poor with complete outages often daily and through out the day.
Xfinity Mobile claimed my phone will work on their network. It is a Samsung Galaxy S9+, a phone Xfinity Mobile lists in their store. My model is SM-G965U1, a factory unlocked phone. The Xfinity Mobile website says all o need is an unlocked phone. The salesman looked at the IMEI number on 2 separate occasions. Their first time was before activation of the other phones on my account and I was told it wouldn't work until the master phone was added. The second time was when we were activating all the phones. I was then told that my old provider, T-Mobile, locked my phone. I went to T-Mobile and they said they did not lock it and I should ask Samsung. Samsung said the phone is unable to be locked
Comcast Xfinity mobile falsified and mislead information on user end account. Didn’t honor promotion because of a mistake on their part. Did not want to unlock a phone that was considered paid off.
I called in comcast in Jan 2019 to cancel service and the services was never cancelled and it was transferred to my new address instead.
The property that I live in is private property. I have been experiencing enormously high electric bills for the past year. So I check everything in the house to find that a comcast technician has installed the router power plug to a light switch in my attic in order to give the internet power. There light switch has been on unknowingly for at least 8 months 24/7 This was not done in agreement with anyone in my home and neither did he inform anyone that this had been done. When contacting comcast about the error they did not elaborate at all was only concerned that the services were working properly. They should be liable to some of these expenses incurred that this technique did this withou
TV and internet services both unworking. After hours on the phone and having technicians out three times, the third technician finally found the problem. Comcast promised us credits back for the period of the unworking service but then "denied" them internally (according to the billing rep I last spoke with).
Comcast representatives gave my information out to satellite partner companies and provided service to someone in Florida and GA area. I have never signed up for Satellite service. I was disconnecting service in Nashville TN moving to Cookeville TN where Comcast could not provide service. The customer service representative gave my information out. I have found out that this happened to several people in the area. I paid my bills on time, when through multiple time with fraud dept and collection agency's and it is still bouncing around. Please help!
