When we signed up for dish network service's we were told we would get 3 months of HBO free.That didn't happen as dish was in a contract dispute with HBO. No big deal,didn't really mind.But now they are in another dispute with fox sports and some of our other local channels so we are not getting these either.I called them up and explained to them that it's now costing me a lot of extra money each week when myself and my wife have to go to the local bar restaurant to watch the games we want to see.Best they could offer was a $5 month discount so I cancelled the service and then they proceeded to send me a $435 cancellation invoice.I.mean that's just ridiculous and I told them flat out I was n
First day of installation after the Dish technician left, we would lose picture over 50% of the time.The loss of service was spotty at best, black screen, half screen or pixel screen.We were unable to enjoy watching TV without issues.So, I recorded all the issues with my smart phone, not knowing that it would be useful later.I called Dish service and notified the individual on the line that they are being recorded at the same time that I was filming the poor service on my 4K tv.We would call and get customer service from someone that we could not understand probably due to they had their mouth to far from the mic and all we could hear was the background noise of people talking and/or English
They pointed my dish in the wrong direction.
Dish network, went into my bank account, without my authorization, and took, money out my account, and after noticing, what happen, I spoke with representatives, and they stated there employee made a mistake, and that it was going to take up to 17 days, for my $290 refund to go back to my account...dish, has totally disappointed me, and this is unexceptional, for them to do..this situation has totally put me in a financial hardship, as well, as with my account being overdrawn, because of this employee stupid mistake.
I had a dish service in Louisiana, spring of 2014 I believe I signed up. For several years I couldn't watch any tv or very limited tv. I worked two jobs so the frustration of dealing with calling in time and time again at night, having technicians come out again and again never solving a damn thing, but charging me for the visits was unconscionable. The dish installer came over to setup my service at my new home. The installer tried using the conduit by running a double cable through my brand new conduit that was obviously only thick enough for one cable. The dish installer got the cable stuck in the conduit and broke it off. My conduit is ruined and useless and was brand new.
Around 5/11/18 i contacted dish network about canceling my service. the person i talked with was having issue with there system and said they would call back. they did and they were still having issues. they assured me they would cancel my service. i stopped watching the service and started using my new service. after waiting for a box to arrive for an extended amount of time i called a second time for my box to send my unit back. much to my surprise they hadnt canceled my service or sent a box. i waited for the box to arrive which came in Sept of 2018. I sent it back but was billed like $500 for the device. I had to call and get this all taken care of. There was no bill remaining
I signed up for Dish Network late August 2018. I was not informed that Dish was in negotiations with HBO and Cinamax and that there was a possibility of loss of programing. On November 1st Dish claims that HBO and Cimamax have stopped making their signal available to Dish. Both HBO and Dish dispute this statement from Dish. I contacted Dish about the loss of the channels and was told that they only expected the interruption to be temporary. I canceled my service paid my bill less the early cancel fee in full as well as all equipment returned.
I ordered Dish services by phone the middle of March 2019. I placed the order for the basic service installation with the cost being 59.99 plus tax and a one time install fee of 49.00 The tech showed up about 8 days later to install. I informed him that my wife had M/S and was sensitive to electricity especially ungrounded current. I showed him the bonding block near the meter and he said it would be no problem.I had to leave for an appointment ,i asked how much longer he would be ,he replied about 20 minutes . i said thanks and he would be gone before i got back.I was gone about 2 1/2 hours and upon my return the tech was still here. I asked what was going on and he said he installed a surround system, I ask what the hell i did not want that . He had taken a card from my wife and ran it twice. I checked my bank at 3am and 876.00 dollars had been deducted from my account and all this while under Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection. This purchase was not authorized by me or the bankruptcy trustee.
