My elderly parents, eight-eight and eighty, tried to cancel their account but were told that they had to pay off the$1,000 loan that they took out with Citizens Bank for the equipment. My father said he was misled. He said he never would have used their service if he had known he was buying the equipment. My dad said he never received any paperwork for anything, not from Vivint or the Citizens Bank.
January 2019, I signed on at $38/month, I was told by AHS salesman my pool was covered, called set up appointment with Contractor through AHS, service was denied.My home was not full and completely covered.So, I was told if I pay $63/ month my home is completely covered for service.Called for work on microwave, AHS denied service on microwave, not covered to replace key pad.Today called for service on garage door repair, service denied for spring and garage door opener.Been paying $63/ month since February 2019.8 × $63= $504; I want my fees back since there was service performed by AHS!
Sales rep was pushy and told us there would be a $600.00 buyout since we were with ADT. It did not happen and the sales rep told us that he could make our monthly payments cheaper than AD T. We were paying around $45.00 a month with ADT and now we are paying close to $100.00 a month with Vivint. We were told that our payment would be around $29.00 a month total. Didn't happen.
I purchase home warranty from American Home Shield back in May, 2019. My refrigerator was broke down in August 09, 2019 and this company still using excuse that the part is back order and still not fix my refrigerator. My Kenmore Elite refrigerator cost over $3,700 and they only offer $370 . Today is Oct. 15 and my refrigerator still not working . I contacted customer service and consumer affair several time with my concern but still nothing work. They keep ask me to wait .
My system has repeatedly gone offline and also the alarm has gone off 3 times without cause (at night)and had to take unit off and disconnect battery and AC in order to stop alrm
So I had Vivint from may 2016 to August 2019.I sold my house to another buyer, he switched it over in his name. According to vivint though I didn't give verbal authorization to have it switched from me to the new owner. But I had called several times to state I am moving and the new owner is interested in switching over. They wont let me cancel now due to I didnt give them authority. Which would seem like a lack of common sense. And now I either have to have it in my new house or pay $80 until 2022 which I didnt know my contract was that long...
I called American Home Shield and they send someone out to check out my problem it was with the toilet was clogged and they said they're going to come back the next day and fix it and they never did. the next day the toilet overflowed and feel that the home flooding the whole room
I did not receive services as agreed by Vivint home security. There equipment and monitoring was inferior and never worked properly.The customer loyalty team from Vivint sent me two emails that they would refund my contract, but have yet to do so.
filed a complaint for my electrical wiring in February of 2018 for the past eight months they've been telling me they would send somebody out to fix it after I tore down all the walls at their request
Was mislead by advertising and equipment was not what was expected tech told me incorrect information as far as canceling and told me they would install my camera at a later date then proceeded to docu sign my name to all paperwork at later time before I had a chance to read contract.
