I had made timely payment for since 2014 up until 2017 and they claimed they did not receive 5 payments I sent to them via money order and were totally unreasonable about trying to investigate the “lost funds” which were not in actuality.

Santander mislead and overcharged me. I was due to have made my last car payment (#72) in October of 2018. I was told that i still owed them money because of interest. I have already paid them over 25,000 dollars in interest alone. I have and continue to pay them out of fear they will repossess my car. The interest rate seems to never go down and it seems like there is no end in sight. I will soon be going into 8 years of making car payments on a contract that stated six years.
